Installation guide for the Termite Meter™
Choosing the placement of the Termite Meter is decided by where you are most concerned about termite activity, according to your house layout and construction. Suggested placement is 10 - 20 feet apart and about 3 feet from the house foundation. Before beginning installation locate any underground utilities or sprinkler lines.

From a standing position, lift the insert up out of the casing and inspect the insert for termite activity. Avoid touching the insert to keep human smell from contaminating the insert. Visually inspect for any termite activity. Return or replace the insert and twist until the half-moon notches are no longer lined up with the tabs, this will secure the insert in place. |
